Hair Colouring
What to Expect
Consultation, Patch test
Your barber checks your natural beard color and discusses the shade you're after, making sure it matches what suits you best. A small amount of color is tested on the skin beforehand to check for any sensitivity (for first time clients).
Prep, Application
A towel is placed around your neck and shoulders to protect your clothing, and a barrier cream is applied along the hairline and skin edges to prevent staining. The color is mixed and applied evenly through your beard with a brush, working section by section for full, even coverage.
Processing, Rinse Off
The color is left to develop for the required time (typically 10–15 minutes), so it sets evenly. Your beard is then thoroughly rinsed with water to remove all traces of color with a gentle cleanser to remove any residual color from the skin. Finally, your beard is blow dried and styled, leaving a natural, even tone behind with greys fully blended in.
