Divine

Early on in his career, Divine botched an army officer's haircut badly enough to nearly quit. Something told him to keep going, and every mistake after that became a lesson. He is now the most awarded barber in Cameroon. He was a businessman before barbering, and when that business collapsed he had to learn a new skill. What stuck, almost by accident, was cutting his siblings and friends hair for fun. Eleven years on, skin fades on curly and Afro textures are the work he is known for. At Chaps Motor City, he listens before he cuts and never talks over a client. "Feel free and relax", he tells every new face, "I will take care of you."
