Hi, I’m Yazan. I joined Chaps in 2020. I’m a young yet very experienced barber form Jordan, coming from a family of experienced barbers who have gained international reach through their skill set. It’s only natural that I too fell in love with the family trade. I started my barber journey at 14 years old. I would finish school and spend the rest of my evenings in the local barbershop observing and preparing for the day when I could start cutting. At 18 years old, whilst perfecting my barbering skills, I also travelled to the USA to gain a degree in business administration. However, my passion for barbering was still powerful. I took a position in Tony and Guy hairdressing for many years, before relocating to Dubai to become a member of Chaps & Co. Coming to Chaps has been a welcoming and incredible experience. Everyday I get to work with like-minded people who share my passion for creativity and professionalism. A cool story… I’ve always wanted to be a barber, but my mother was in the medical sector. If she was next to me, I would tell everyone I wanted to be a doctor, but everyone knew the truth. Barbering has always been my passion.
