Toni

By the time Toni joined Chaps in 2022, he had already run a combined barbershop and tattoo parlour, worked in Hong Kong, and spent time cutting hair in Denmark. The UAE was his third country as a barber, and as a Libra, he says, the decision was carefully weighed. He studied Business Administration at university, then chose barbering for a reason he states clearly: people tell their secrets to their barbers, and he wanted a career with that kind of human dimension. He is also a painter and tattoo artist, and the precision across all three crafts is the same. At Chaps JLT, he brings the discipline of a business degree, the creative instinct of someone who makes art, and the industry experience to back both up. Chaps & Co is my third experience abroad as a barber, previously I have worked in Hong Kong and Denmark and I am excited to now be here in the UAE. As a libra I like to measure everything up and make the scales balance so moving here to work with Chaps was well planned and I’m looking forward to my future with the rest of the team.
