Sonam

Born and raised in Nepal, Sonam Sherpa discovered his passion for barbering while he was still in school, where he enjoyed cutting his friends’ hair for fun. Around 2020, he began pursuing barbering professionally in Nepal with multiple branches, where he built a strong foundation and refined his craft. In early 2024, he moved to Miami to further expand his knowledge and experience. Later that year, he relocated to New York where he continues to work today. In 2026, he also became part of the team at Chaps & Co. in New York City, further expanding his experience in the industry. With years of hands-on experience across Nepal and the United States, Sonam is committed to delivering clean fades, sharp beard work, and personalized haircuts tailored to each client’s style. His goal is simple to ensure every client leaves the chair looking sharp, feeling confident, and excited for their next visit.
