Ilker's path into barbering was practically written in his blood. Growing up in Turkey, he was surrounded by the craft from the start; his grandfather was a skilled barber, and his uncle, also in the trade, was the one who truly sparked Ilker's own fascination with cutting hair. That early curiosity led him to barber school in Turkey, but he wasn't content to stop there. Chasing a desire to learn from the best, he traveled to London to train at a prestigious barbering school under some of the most renowned names in the industry; barbers who'd worked on the likes of David Beckham. That experience proved transformative, but Ilker brought what he learned back home, continuing to sharpen his technique in Turkey and building a loyal clientele along the way. Eventually, his ambitions carried him further still, to New York, where he now shares his craft in one of the world's most dynamic cities, always pushing to take the art of grooming to new heights.
