Yaz

Yaz has been in the industry for 14 years, with 3 of those spent at Chaps & Co. His path into barbering was completely unplanned. At a point in life where he simply wanted to connect with people, a close friend already in the trade noticed his eye for detail and pulled him into the shop, handing him the tools and teaching him the ropes. Seeing firsthand how a proper haircut could transform a guy's confidence; was the moment a random suggestion quickly became a genuine passion and career. Yaz is best known for precision skin fades and sharp, clean beard sculpts tailored to each client's face shape, with a particular strength in reading how different hair textures will grow out over time. Clients describe sitting in his chair as a genuine reset: no rushing, no assumptions, and no pushing a style they didn't ask for: just an easygoing space to switch off, talk, or sit in comfortable silence while he handles the details, so they leave both looking sharp and feeling refreshed. Outside the shop, Yaz balances an active routine with gym sessions and weekly swims along with with quality downtime discovering new dinner spots with his wife, hosting friends for card games, or catching a movie.
