Romeo

Romeo is a Canadian barber of Lebanese heritage, now based in Riyadh, who's been behind the chair since 2018 and joined Chaps & Co in November 2025. Barbering wasn't a lifelong calling, it was a practical decision after high school, one that came with the appeal of sharp professional attire, meeting a wide variety of people, and always being the guy who could clean you up before a big night out. Only two months into his career, he faced a trial by fire: a skin fade he'd never attempted on a 17-year-old client, that didn't go to plan. As the client's mother began venting her frustration in Arabic, assuming Romeo wouldn't understand a word, the look on her face when he replied in Arabic is a moment he still laughs about. That early stumble gave way to a reputation built on precision; Romeo is known for his perfectionist's eye and committed to delivering exactly what a client asks for. As one regular puts it, "he doesn't just nail the style, he makes every visit genuinely enjoyable." His only ask of new clients is to come with a picture and realistic expectations, and he'll take care of the rest. Outside the shop, Romeo splits his time between the gym and gaming.
