Coloring, haircuts, facials, beard work: Rex trained in all of it, which is unusual in a profession where most barbers specialize from the start. The range is deliberate. His uncle's influence pointed him toward the craft, and he made sure he came thoroughly prepared. He graduated in hospitality management and spent time in a hotel career before realizing the fit was not there. The answer had been in plain sight during his college years: every break, every free hour, he was in the local barbershop watching. Eventually he stopped watching and started learning. At Chaps JLT, he brings the client service instinct of his hospitality background and the technical breadth of a barber who never stopped adding to his repertoire. One visit covers everything.
