Edwin's road to barbering started with an unexpected detour: a break from his Engineering studies led him to take a part-time job at a barbershop where he was, up until then, just a regular customer. The staff became friends, and it wasn't long before they were telling him something he hadn't considered himself: that he looked completely natural behind the chair, like it was what he was meant to do all along. The rest, as he puts it, is history. Today, Edwin is known for his classic, patented scissor cut: a corporate-style haircut built on precision and technical mastery. But for him, the real value goes beyond the cut itself; it's about the relationships built along the way, the kind grounded in genuine, meaningful conversation. One moment has stayed with him more than any other: losing a long-time, loyal client who passed away just as he was preparing to retire home after more than two decades working in the Middle East, a loss Edwin still feels deeply. Outside the shop, his real life kicks into gear. He plays basketball every chance he gets, often bringing his son along to the park, and owns, manages, coaches, and plays for GRAVITY, a decorated basketball franchise in Dubai with multiple championships to its name. A dedicated sports fan through and through, he follows the NBA, NFL, MLB, ATP and WTA tours, F1, boxing, and UFC.
