He started as a helper in a ladies' salon in the Philippines, self taught from the floor up, and spent twenty five years building a career that eventually brought him to the private service of a member of the UAE royal family. His specialty is Afro cuts, demanding, technical work that rewards experience over shortcuts. In the chair, Berbard never rushes. He never has.
